I was born in 1956 and am entirely self-taught.
I begin exhibiting my work in 1985, in the form of paintings, pictorial in nature, and to my taste quite unsatisfactory.

1988: I exchange my paintbrushes for a sculptor's chisels and experiment with solid media - of all kinds

1993: My work turns towards the study of behaviour, a view of society; my sculptures become caricatures. This is also when I first use salvaged materials.

1996: My working method aims to free my sculptures from the constraints imposed by the weather, with a view to displaying them in the garden.
